SOMMUS Produções begins operations under the artistic direction of maestro David Wesley Silva — music production, harmonic consulting, commercial jingles, and vocal support for vocal groups.
Nearly three decades of artistic sensitivity and sonic excellence.
Founded in São Paulo in 1996 and directed since its inception by maestro David Wesley Silva, SOMMUS Produções has dedicated nearly three decades to connecting people through music — combining artistic sensitivity, technical rigor, and a humanized approach to ensemble management.
From 1997 to 2006, the company led one of Brazil's most consistent independent phonographic outputs, recording and releasing albums across gospel, classical, and popular repertoire through its own studio, i-9 MiX. In the following decades, SOMMUS channeled that studio expertise into the creation and continued management of corporate and institutional choirs for leading Brazilian organizations — including SBT, Tetra Pak, and the Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz — while directing the Chorus Dei & Orchestra, a volunteer ensemble with over 25 years of uninterrupted activity.
Today, SOMMUS maintains an active phonographic archive in continuous digitization and cataloging — preserving three decades of Brazil's sacred and popular musical memory — while developing new orchestral and choral projects.
